Privacy Policy

Last updated: December 2025

CatalogOps.ai ("CatalogOps", "we", "us") provides product content operations services to ecommerce brands. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect when you use catalogops.info, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

  • Demo requests & contact data — name, work email, company, monthly SKU volume, primary marketplace and any message you send via the demo form.
  • Calendly bookings — when you schedule a call, our scheduling provider (Calendly) collects calendar availability, name, email and any answers you provide.
  • Usage data — anonymous page-view, click and session data collected via our analytics provider (PostHog) to measure performance and improve the site.

2. How we use it

  • To respond to your demo request and onboard your catalog.
  • To send transactional emails relating to your enquiry.
  • To measure and improve our website and service quality.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.

3. Data sharing

We share limited data with the following processors:

  • Calendly — scheduling. See Calendly Privacy.
  • MongoDB Atlas / cloud hosting — to store demo request records.
  • PostHog — product analytics.
  • Email provider (if/when configured) — to deliver transactional emails.

4. Retention

Demo request records are kept for as long as an active sales conversation is ongoing, and deleted on request. Analytics data is kept in aggregate.

5. Your rights

Depending on your location (UK GDPR, EU GDPR, UAE PDPL, California CCPA, Indian DPDP Act), you may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data. Email hello@catalogops.info and we will respond within 30 days.

6. Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored on access-controlled cloud infrastructure. While no system is perfectly secure, we use industry-standard safeguards.

7. Contact

Questions about this policy or your data: hello@catalogops.info.
